Recreational Courses
Start your dive journey with us
If you have ever dreamed of learning to dive or earning your scuba certification, Cave country Dive Shop by Paragon Dive Group is here to assist you. Our shop offers world class scuba training to help entry-level divers learn the sport. We also provide courses that allow more advanced divers to expand and refine their skill sets.
As a shop in Cave Country it is often assumed that we don’t offer recreational training and that could not be further from the truth! We love teaching new divers and exposing people to breathing underwater for the first time. We all started our journey in the exact same spot.
Come and learn to SCUBA dive with us!
Three steps to earning your certification
You can earn your Scuba certification with Cave Country Dive Shop in three easy steps.
Open water SCUBA training starts with online learning, followed by confined water training with one of our world class instructors, and then a series of open water dives in your choice of locations from the local Florida Springs to the “local” ocean sites or even more exotic locations.
Step 1
Start your open-water scuba diver class with an eLearning course. This course allows you to master all the vital academic information before you get in the water. Aspiring divers can complete this phase through self-study, at their own pace, in the convenience of their home, office or while traveling. All eLearning courses are available on mobile and tablet devices.
Step 2
The next step to earning your scuba certification is completing in-water pool training. During this step, new divers will familiarize themselves with the equipment they were introduced to in their online training, while learning safe practices while preparing for open-water diving. This training takes place in a confined water typically a swimming pool under the direct supervision of an experienced cave country instructor
Step 3
The final step in our scuba certification course is completing the required open-water training dives under instructor supervision. During this step, divers will apply what they have learned during their academic and skill-development sessions while learning practical lessons they can only gain through real-world experience in open water. This step occurs in a larger body of water typically in any of our local springs or ocean.
